Have you been dreaming of working with a successful tech company in Silicon Valley? For the first time in our country, Girls in Tech India in collaboration with Girls in Tech Global and Silicon Valley Internship Programme (SVIP), provide an opportunity for one year paid internships in some of the best Silicon Valley tech startups on a J1 visa. These internships are prioritized for recent tech graduates or tech students in their final years of study.
These internships are full time job
s with full time salary for a duration of one year. The selected candidates will have an opportunity to work with the engineering teams of tech startups for a year, through the collaboration with SVIP, and thus to develop their IT and entrepreneurial skills through a structured program that apart from the full time job, also provides a range of hackathons and other events that will be organized for them by Girls in Tech and SVIP during their stay in Silicon Valley. At the end of the program, participants will be able to go back to their countries where they can integrate their experiences gained throughout that invaluable year.
Successful candidates will be getting a salary of around $60 000 on a yearly basis for their yearly engagement in the company. Additionally, the SVIP team will organize processing of the visas for the selected candidates, as well as flights and accommodation for the first month after their arrival in Silicon Valley, along with other support of similar kind. Selected candidates will be moving to Silicon Valley at the end of August/early September 2016.

This committee in collaboration with SVIP representatives, will be doing review and initial selection of all program applicants worldwide.
